Tonight I'm full of banana squash and I'm grateful...
1. That I am able to provide basic necessities for my family. And by basic necessities I mean Nutella and a new Elmo toothbrush for Erich.
2. For my mini break-through with some difficult students; talking about my non-Pitt bull Pitt bull really won over some of my hard core gangsters.
3. For the right to vote and the "I Voted" sticker (that Erich actually ate on our walk home from the polling station yesterday).
4. That even though my throat hurts like crazy, the pink eye is gone and I'm on to wearing a new, fresh pair of contacts.
5. For my maternity fleece jammy bottoms---no, I'm not pregnant, but I put them on today since all the other jammy bottoms were dirty and, wow, they are comfy! (albeit a little on the large size!)
