Tonight my arm is hurting because I got my flu shot and I'm grateful....
1. That my school district provided free flu shots for employees and that flu shots generally help me stay healthy.
2. That I ran into my old principal while in line for the flu shot and that he offered to hold/entertain Erich while my arm was jabbed with the vaccine.
3. For my old principal (not just for the reason above) because he is so friendly and, well, is basically everything the new principal is not.
4. That Erich and I had a fun time running around at the park; seriously, this kid has so much energy!
5. For prayers that I say at night & in the morning and for prayers that I carry in my heart all day to help me survive.
And, because I'm feeling particularly grateful tonight, here's one more....
6. I'm grateful to be so blessed with so many things--big and small-- that I take for granted.
